This video shows the post-production of an infrared or IR photo:

1. Using the ruler tool (press I until it's selected) I fixed the crooked horizon (after the ruling tool, click on Image - Image Rotation - Arbitrary and the correct value is already inserted) and cropped the image afterwards.
2. I auto-adjusted the levels of the whole image (Image - Adjustments - Levels - Auto). Since I use this function a lot I created a shortcut for it. That's why you don't see the levels dialogue.
3. With the feathered marquee tool I auto-adjusted parts of the image separately.
4. I reduced the saturation of magenta tones.
5. The dark top left corner was brightened with the dodge tool
6. Minor adjustments of the curves.
