Just some testing of my Super Mario All-Stars cartridge for the NES! That's right, NES, not SNES.
All 4 games (SMB 2, SMB 2J: The Lost Levels, SMB 3 and SMB 3: Chaos Control) are contained on a single PRG and CHR ROM and the reset button on the console drives a synchronous binary counter to pick between them.

Hey the one I had was Super Mario Party wit 6 games! The layout for the menu was the stage from Mario Bros 1983.

Interestingly, there is actually a rare multicart called Super Mario Party which contains:
Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros.
Dream Mario Bros. (a RAM hack of SMB that distorts the stages)
Golden Mario Bros. (Japanese SMB2)
Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA)
Super Mario Bros. 3
I wonder what mapper that multicart uses, but if you want to see it, here's the link: watch?v=BDE-YR2KQEs

Great job! I'm assuming you're pulling the system reset signal out of the key CIC, which sadly means that this won't work on a Famicom or its clones and maybe the NES top loader (since there's no CIC at all in that one). I've always wanted to do a reset-based NES multicart but the lack of a universal reset signal on the cartridge connector keeps me from doing it.
MMC3 SMB1 anyone? :-P
Also, great videos! I like your concise, semi tutorial style. Subscribed!
