@Branuelmo I'm not saying Windows is a bad OS(it's really good for being a system that never really changed since the 80's though).
But you cannot compare something like that with a Overkill OS like OSX (Or atleast like it's predescor NeXTstep)

@Branuelmo Windows 7 is barely faster then Vista. Yes, Codes were improved but 7 has the same System requirements and Overall there is nothing really changed much.
I find it actually funny, that people say, that a Consumer OS like Windows is better than a Professional's OS like OSX. Don't be pissed, but Windows is what it is: A System for Consumers.
The only reason, people are saying that Windows is better is: their big 3rd party support. That's all.

Hi I have a mac and it has a password security system :
go to system preferences go to accounts and the first screen is password settings, set u're password, then go to security and click disable automatic login. MACS RULE 100000,0000 times better than Vista !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not overly, the main difference between the macbooks and macbook pros is the graphics processing units and screen size.

I've never tried it but can't you enable a password feature on the mac under system prefs-accounts-login options?
Macs do definitely shut down quicker.
