what a load of bullshit!

i actually saw his soul leave his body during this interview

@infoment1 FFS..that shit was debunked about 8 years ago. Turn off your Loose Change loop.

@oskarmosquito Should be an answer. You people think that an administration that couldn't plant WMD's in the middle of a desert are capable of planting hundreds of tons of hush boom explosives undetected by anyone in one of the busiest buildings in one of the busiest cities on the planet, as well as plant debris of those planes in4 4 different locations w/o anyone seeing them. Talk about faith.

@SL55T0T0 Got to love how truthers only believe people when they confirm what they want to believe.
-
@kbspapa Indeed..no matter how many times people want to pretend magic hush boom explosives exist they have yet to produce them

An interview of Aaron Swirsky, one of the architects of the WTC, published on the Jerusalem Post, Sept-12-2001 says the following: "The building was designed like a pipe structurally, with the main structure in the perimeter of the building. This meant that a hole in the building WOULD NOT COLLAPSE THE WHOLE STRUCTURE. The fact that the buildings did collapse he described as INCREDIBLE". So Romero or Thomas, please show us where did that idea that it was designed to collapse that way came from.

Thanks for a most informative video. I was always curious as to how more than 70 stories of the building below the impact zone could lose structural integrity and fail so rapidly. Now I know it was from the loss of the insulation due to the plane's impact and the resulting intense fires. It was also informative to learn that the buildings were designed to fall down and not to stay up. Thanks again.
The Truthers are sure getting stirred up! Guess they don't like losing one of the oft-retold Icons of Truthiness, the "Romero Retraction."

I asked Van about this, and here's his reply:
"I learned that the building was designed to fall into itself from the analysis done by Weidlinger which was about 3 to 4 years after the event. ..."
Van
(Also: we do check for reaction to asymmetric damage. I.e. building gets hit on one side and it holds it structural integrity until it fails in the natural mode of collapse)
The Weidlinger analysis is discussed here:
