Gerry was such a power. He could play pressure defence for 30 min at least. I remember his 2 seasons in Zadar very well, 1997-1999. Our only foreign player that year, but such a leader. There's only one US player I would put next to him in Zadar. Julius ˝Juby˝ Johnson. A very similar type, as a player and as a person. Gerry was this year in visit in Zadar after 10 years. Everybody recognized him when he entered the new Kresimir Cosic Arena. He got the big applause and you bet he deserved it!

You can be very proud of jerry, I remember he was the only one in team who could guard both Chucky Atkins and Gordan Giricek (cibona's players with solid NBA career).

once he blocked cibona's center Alihodzic (6'10" i believe) twice in the same action, then stealing the ball out of his hands...

hi jailyn. I m from Zadar too, and i was kid when he playerd here, but i remember very well how Gerald dominated the basketball floor. You should be very proud of him, becouse he was Idol then, and he is now to many of us. Say big hello to him.
