Jesse Jackson tells the audience at a Congressional Black Caucus Town Hall that the Fort Sumter Tea Party supports the Tenth Amendment, or as he calls it, "the slave amendment". Because of this, their fight against the Tea Party is a Civil War struggle. He asks "are you with the Union or the state's rightists?"

What Jesse Jackson is trying to do is gin up race hatred so that blacks will falsely perceive the Tea Party as people who want to bring back slavery, lynch blacks, etc. etc.
Of course it is ridiculous, but some stupid people are going to buy this crap and get violent. Think about it. Jesse Jackson is willing to inspire race hatred when it isn't there, so that Democrats can win the next election. Is that sick or what?
