W.V. Ghost Hunters Moundsville WV Pen "Ghost?" Flir Thermal

6/10/07 - West Virginia State Penitentiary (Moundsville) - Machine Shop a.k.a. "The Hole" - This video was captured right after the video below with our Flir Thermal Imaging Camera. As the camera pans to the left a mystery " hot spot " is visible and then disappears. So that you have a chance to examine the entire sequence, which is very brief, the video is presented first at full speed, then at half speed, and finally at 1/4 speed. Thermal imaging cameras are a very sensitive tool that can be easily misinterpreted. However in this case a heat reflection is really quite unlikely as the entire machine shop is either wood or stone both of which obviously could not reflect the heat signature of a person. It is impossible to say but take a look

amazing. but I noticed it seems to be a window in which you were shooting. It was definately NOT a reflection, because of all the heat, but per chance could it have been a team member or someone else outside?

If it's not, then it's something you can't explain. =]

This is the basement area known to past visitors as the site of the RD Walsh murder. There are definitely no windows at all. Thank you

The "accepted" theory? Paranormal Research is an inexact science to say the least. When we research we look to capture and document anomalies of any kind that defy a rational scientific explanation. If you choose to only look for what others tell you to seek that seriously limits the value of any research that you do. Also in para-research there are no experts only those with more experience keep an open mind and learn for yourself as well as from others with more experience.

I live in WV and took the tour in Nov. It was an all night thing but I didnt see anything myself.
