http://www.BradFrankDrums.com - Lesson 3 in the Drag Rudiment tutorials demonstrating advanced orchestrations of the Drag around the drum set and "stacking" these orchestrations over different bass drum rhythms. This is all in an effort to develop new creative ideas uses for the traditional snare drum rudiment The Drag (sometimes mistakenly called a "Ruff") and its sticking to embellish time, fills, and solo. I was inspired by Steve Gadd's interpretation of the rudiment the Ratamacue. Be sure to pick up his video "Up Close"

  • Very hard to learn this without music printed on the screen. My recommendation is to have the printed music flash for about five seconds before each time you play something new. Otherwise, a very good lesson.

  • @ShelterDogs Go to bradfrankdrums. com to download the transcriptions of the exercises.

  • Dude so many of these rudimental excercises people put on here seem to be just an excuse to show off and therefore they hold little to no value to most players. You play this stuff nice and slow and explain it clear. Thanks heaps.
