apart from the time fitz and the fool spent together in the clearing with the stone pillars after the fool came back to life, my favorite part was by far "you said to me once that if i got tired of calling you fool, i could call you beloved. i missed you beloved."

The Fool didn't have homosexual feelings for Fitz. He loved him, yes, but not in a sexual way. Fitz himself asked the Fool many times whether he was sexually interested in him, and the Fool denied it.
The love between the Fool and Fitz is the love between a white prophet and a catalyst. I think it's much more deeper than human love.

Everyone seems to be confused about the whole Molly business here, so I think I might contribute.. If you paid close attention, you'd realise this is how the Fool wanted things to be. He gave the missing fragments of Fitz's soul back to him so that he could live the life he knew was best for him. Remember that towards the end, Fitz puts the Fool in front of all else and even considers running away with him. The tragedy is that the fool knows this cannot be and they must always be parted.
