Wonder why they made him do this circus though. Seems to be the Beatles and Elvis rolled into one. Then again, most artists in the US were picking up the pieces by mid 64, bracing themselves for the storm that would the Fabs' second tour in August of that year. Great guitarist Mr. Campbell, has to be said...

GC is a master musician hands down but in this clip he is obviously performing to a prerecorded track, sometimes all artists had to to that for production purposes.

He used this guitar from the time he played on "Star Route".
Goes to show that it isn't all the guitar...it's the player.
He used Ovations for years, a Fender Bass VI in the mix, Strats later.

he is so trying to do a beatles performance here - even cut his hair the same stopping you head Glenn you look soft - USA never forgave GB for the beatles and they've been trying to catch up ever since - will never happen
