Nice. If I saw that commercial today I would go and buy Linit. I love how he speaketh as though he steppeth from a Shakespearean play.

Linit was originally marketed by Corn Products as a "beauty bath" powder (they sponsored Fred Allen's "LINIT BATH CLUB REVUE" on radio in 1932-'33). Eventually, Linit became associated with starch [granulated and spray]. Jim Henson himself is the voice {and manipulator} of "Sir Linit". You can still find Linit on some grocery shlves today.
