Thanks for posting this. A lot has changed since the 1980s. To be honest, this is the first time that I have ever seen a 1988 commercial from Hawaii because I wasn't even born yet.

I lived in Hawaii during the 80's. I recently came back only to learn that a few of my favorites are now dead: Didi Ah-Yo, and Don Ho. Damn, I was too late.

Sad, he came to our school to talk about careers in entertainment. Danielle Tucker was there too!

Yeah, he passed away in Bangkok of a heart attack. He was one of my favorites while in high school in the mid '80s. Him and Willie Moku of 93FMQ. Qseng was hilarious and never care sometimes who he teased. Miss da buggah'! Truly rest in peace Mike and Willie.

The former channel before KHNL was KIKU 13 back in the 1970s until the early 1980s.KIKU 13 used to show Kikaida,Kikaida 01,Inazuman,Robocon,Go Ranger,Rainbow Man,and Diamond Eye.
