  • Still, I don't know why you're not using headphones :)

  • @descore it is only to hear sound in movie

  • Looks like you had already worked most of the stations you were hearing :) Anyway, nothing *I mean nothing* beats the K3 for CW rx, it's simply in its own league, ways above the competition even rigs that cost 3 times as much.

  • @descore this is the last hour of the contest

  • Hey what prograp are you using to recieve and transmit your CW?

    thanks

  • N1MM to transmit

  • funny. can do cw, but can't type.

  • this is the first time I heard sound from K3 radio, it sound even better than K2. I know why so many people praise K3. radio is smaller than I expected. today, I think computer help check DUP etc . I will use pen and paper to check DUP, but it takes some time to do it.

  • Hello... I'm K114GG coming @ ya' from Hell.

  • I'm not a CW contester so I could be wrong but I don't think spinning the dial and just sending "?" and not identifying is legal. I'm pretty sure that if you QSY you are required to ID after your final transmission. Just because a contest is going on doesn't mean we can bend the rules. Maybe this is different in Poland..?

  • @timewind76

there are still some exceptions (thanks god), in DL we have some very good ops, who do very good and fast manually cw on the 80 m band, sometimes they are "talking" some hours in the evening in cw, thats really fun. 73

  • @mmbgsc Could very well be. I hope there is still room for folks who operate CW manually as a respite FROM computers. Or am I just a lone humanoid talking to other computers?
