The cultural group, comprising of 15 girls participated in the 4th National Balrang organised by Department of School Education Government of Madhya Pradesh and Indra Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya Bhopal. Performers of 26 different states including two students of International Schools performed on a common platform in Bhopal on 21st December 2008. The Dancing Queens of JOY did it and bagged the First Prize for their folk display of "The Rai" dance. the group has been adopted by the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya Bhopal to project the culture of M.P. in other States and abroad.The group was further bestowed with the honour of performing on the Founders Day of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya on 21st March 2009
