I love the way they take lovely songs, as made famous and performed by other people, and bring their own lovely brand of sing along party style of singing to them. They are just a delight to listen to.

If you take the Bow Bells to be a judge, then there'd be more 'cockneys' in posher parts of London rather than your proper East End. Plus they haven't rung in ages anyway. It's an old term rather than an accurate indicator of cockneys being your traditional 'East Enders'.

@CockneyRebel1979 ' Cockney' means to be born within the sound of bow bells. you use it . chas 'n' dave certainly use it . 'Edmon'on' is a bloody long way from cheapside but, as you say -'peace and love' Its a lot of old marketing bollocks anyway.
