Atlantic Community : In the second video two German Fulbright alumni describe why they stay up all night to follow the US elections. A group of exchange students from Bates College in Maine talks about the new image for America and the domestic and international changes they hope to see after the elections, including more support from Europe. A student from Stanford adds his views as well.

  • As an American I think there is much to be learned from the Europeans. I lived in Germany for a time and I noticed that energy, fuel, and transportation are issues that Europeans have dealt with more efficiently. Also, I was very impressed by the German recycling facilities at the supermarkets with the voucher systems. Therefore everyone recycles and there was no need to pick up the recycling directly from everyone's house. Fuel prices are more expensive in Europe and so the cars are small.

  • Berlin is a left-wing anarchist Citadel:D

  • This reporter is a fucking moron!!!

  • We have large cars and SUVs in the USA because the nation is so big. Our interstates are inferior to your Autobahns, as well, so we need larger cars to navigate them.

  • When I went to Calif from abroad I saw the huge cars, and I knew why Bush invaded Iraq. And Obama is not black. He is half-black.
