Onein6.org Ministry

this video was compiled to highlight the ministry of Onein6.org. This ministry exists to bring glory to God by clothing the naked, feeding the poor, housing the homeless, and caring for the orphans. God calls us to radical sacrifice and obedience as believers and the millions dying and starving is blood on the hands of the church. We are called to be his hands and feet. who will go if we dont? who will serve if we dont? when one truly sees the gracious mercy of God a natural response would be to show it to others. Why? because he clothed us when we were naked, he fed us when we were hungry, he cared for us when we were poor. Onein6 is a ministry that calls for only a dollar in hopes that a community of people will become the hands and feet of the gospel, making enormous impacts on this world and shining the light of Christ. @susu3391 I hope that videos like this will open the eyes and the hearts of the church to see why the NEED to care about these issues. We not only need to give people what they need, but also give them the resources to becomeself-sufficient. Whether it be education, tools for agricultural cultivation, or whatever it is... Let us empower these people to provide for themselves so they dont have to rely on a world that does not care about them. "We want a hand-up, not a hand-out." -my mom

I think the problem with the church is that they want to determine who is and who is not worthy of God's love. Which is so wrong. People have a hard time learning to be compassionate for a situation that they are not a part of. If they have not experienced hunger, poverty, illnesss (without access to healthcare), or imprisonment, then they often dont care about the people who do.
