  • I understand your point and agree completely, I should have been more clear in what I was saying... 100 % true that a boxer would destroy an MMA fighter in a boxing match, what I meant to say was more a hypothetical, that outside the rules of their sports, if they were to be in a street brawl, an MMA fighter would best a boxer due2 martial arts knowledge, which teaches you to do things illegal in an MMA fight, and that a boxer does not know how to do. Comparing sports=pointless as u said.

  • im a boxer and whenever i have to fight in the street outside the sport you say i headbutt nutshots shit i might even bite your ass

  • @mrbig71014 doesnt have a long history three words alexander the great was a mma fighter pancration was the first mma style

  • @DestroyerAlexandros exactly my point thats why majority of one dimensional mma fighters low tier look like shit compared to someone like dominick cruz who is good in both

  • @ageeeeeeeeee Yes you are right. The Olympics comes every 4 years so most athletes will only get about 2 tries there and it pays shit. BJJ tournaments and ADCC are good but they don't pay as well as MMA. Boxers and kickboxers have very well paid sports to fall back to but high-level grapplers' best option is to cross train and fight in MMA.

  • @DestroyerAlexandros and those top grapplers went to mma because that is their only avenue to pro fighting. where will a good wrestler go? yeah olympics but it comes every 4 years you against the world and they dont get paid. MMA is the best for them.

  • @grapefruitnas guess what - he'll hit you to the back of the head. If you go for a kimura - guess what you get eye gouged.

  • @grapefruitnas I strongly disagree about the free fight part here. Boxing originated from the Ancient Greek sport called Pancrease, which was free fighting without any rules. People discovered that out of all the things you can do to a person using your hands to hurt him is the most effective technique. In a brawl things like Jiu Jitsu, takedowns and submissions are pretty useless. If you go around pulling guard the other guy will just kick you in the groin. If you go around clinching somebody

  • @ageeeeeeeeee Dude I'm not bashing on MMA. For starters it's my favorite sport but I'm being realistic here. Look at all top boxers, wrestlers, judokas, karatekas, kickboxers, etc those guys have been drilling their sport since day 1 since they were 3 years old. Now compare that to MMA fighters who have a background in a particular sport but were never really successful at it with minor exceptions.

  • @DestroyerAlexandros dude you really got mma wrong mma is technical you think defending takedowns and striking in mma is easy? its not. they are both hard sports and they call manny paq tyson ali rjj bernard wlad huge athletes. and wlad relies on his reach and strength to win while manny relies on speed. stop bashing mma they are both hard it all depends on the fighter

  • @DestroyerAlexandros ncaa is college level where it is the whole country and actualy freestyle wrestling in the olympics is dominated by the usa with all gold medalists being top ncaa champs. they have olympic qualifications here in the us its just like europe . ncaa is high level wrestling

  • @bronx6231 No, they run for half an hour then they fill a tub with hot water and spirits, then they stay in it for 40-60 minutes, then they put on clothing and they lay under a blanket for 30 minutes then they go to bed instantly and the next day they are 15 pounds lighter.
