2011 Rogers Santa Claus Parade, Vancouver, Canada

Floats and participants make their way through the parade route during the 8th Annual Rogers Santa Claus Parade in Downtown Vancouver, BC, Canada on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011.

Over 300,000 spectators turned out for a glimpse of this annual parade that started at West Georgia Street and Broughton at 1:00 p.m. PST, travelled east along West Georgia, turned north on Burrard St. and finished at Burrard and Cordova.

Pre-parade family-friendly festivities during the event included live entertainment on the main stage, Gingerbread Man decoration and letter writing to Santa, among others, at the Coast Capital Savings Christmas Square.
