As the US economy continues to struggle, it seems Wall Street and big banks are doing better than ever. The income disparity gap in the United States is the largest of all the developed industrial nations. The Trends Research Institute Director Gerald Celente says the American Empire is collapsing and the banks have committed the greatest bank robbery in the history of the world.

@IHighLikePlane yes i agree income inequality, exploitation of the poor by the rich, etc are perennial problems. but what i mean is that i recommend that you or anyone else switch their money into gold for your own good because it is difficult for government to tax gold and it will protect you from inflation. i dont' recommend coverting all your money into gold. the swiss recommend gold make up 10% of your wealth

@noraklagrangian Yeah thats true, but switching our economy from fiat to a gold standard simply gives more power to the people with all the gold (which are the people running things now anyway). So we'd have much of the same problems.

People who think that switching from fiat to gold will fix all our problems are really naive. The rich will still be rich, they will still have enormous control over the government and what you see and hear on tv. They will still outsource, downsize, pollute, and engage in corruption for increased profits.
