David and Robin Batteau perform "High Tide" from their Batteaux album for the first time in 32 years. This song was recently sampled by Ghostface Killah on his "Fish Scale" album for the song "Underwater". After visitng their ancsestors' birthplaces in Utuado and Cidra,Puerto Rico, Robin and David play for some of the family in the hotel room.

I'm so happy to have found this video! I have loved the song "High Tide" and the album "Batteaux" for so long. Although I've looked, I never found much info about the brothers.

Now I learn they are from Puerto Rico? I lived there near San Juan when I was very young. I loved it. My sister moved back years ago.
