Shutting down the gas stations for one day would be great. Maybe we could these idiots to wake up to the fact that we've got so much oil in the US that we couldn't use it our life time. I would run for president but I figured out it would take me the rest of my life to fix all the problems that our government created.

It would never happen because the world runs on petroleum so all the dictators of oil producing countries such as Russian and Iran will continue to get rich. By the way Moscow is now the richest city in the world, richer than San Francisco, London, Tokyo, LA, and New York.

I've been watching how people drive since I adjusted the way I drive in order to conserve what I can get. So far so good as I am making my gas dollars last. It is not just the big rigs that are the problem but rather more to do with the way people drive I think.

+ we pay $9 a gallon in this country, it coste me about $89 Us to fill up my Daweoo kalos with it's 40 litre tank, although i get 55 miles per gallon because of the 1.4 litre engine, why don't you all drive smaller cars over there, there is no need for SUVs they just waste our fuel, damage the enviroment and cost a bomb to keep going!

Here in my home town today there is a station that has put gas on sale for $2.99 per Gal. The line is growing fast. Question: Is this the best way to deal with the problem or will it only drive up the price that much more?
