  • She will have been asked. Probably didn't want to do it. Why should she reinforce the public misconception that she's a MOR relic living of past glories - when the reality is that she's a fantastic creative musician making some of the best music of her career NOW.

  • Sensitive performance of a glorious melody. Very intimate and moving. thanks for posting

  • From 2:55 into this... just the richness of the vocals.. it makes all the hairs on the back of yr neck stand up. Exceptional!! One of THE great singers.

  • thank you very much - I will search it out

  • You can find it on her cd, "After Dark" - which is a live concert album from the 1980's

  • Hello BD fans - For years now, and I mean years I've been trying to get hold of her singing "no milk today" by Graham Gouldman ( a hit for Herman's Hermits). I heard her sing it once on the radio and just cannot find hide nor hair of t anywhere. Any ideas anyone?

  • Barbara couldn't play in Hyde Park as she was performing in Scotland at a folk festival... she'd have been great though in London... would wipe the floor with Elaine and Lulu!!

  • But I kinda like hearing her sing the head off Ms. Paige!! Anyway, I would be annoyed if they didn't ask her, since she sings Abba better than anyone else on the list.

  • Is it true that Barbara hasn't been asked to sing at the Hyde Park Abba Tribute? She must be the best interpretor of their songs and has always chosen the best. So lesser artists like Lulu, Elaine Paige etc; are doing it. Surely a grave oversight

  • Kenrew,

Another great one, from what must surely be Barbara's best ever Tour with the best set list ever.
