@BreakDown1996 ive since changed the batterys i can see the beam but not for long as battries run down so all i can see is the dot not the beam a 5 mw will see the beam with new battries but the beam is so vague its not worth it
@FerretyWeasel Really? Someone I'm in conversation with told me that a shipment of 5mW lasers he made arrived and that he can see the beam in the evening quite clearly.
Will 50mW burn clothing? Is it corrosive at that power?
@caturn88 50mW of green is around the point where a beam is typically visibible in a dimly lit room(daytime with only a few windows). As long as you dont do anything stupid with it 50mW is fairly safe, it wont entirely destroy your vision from a beam shot in your eye, but you could damage your vision and would surely be left with a temporary blind spot for a few days.
@caturn88 nope, if a green laser is less than 5 mW your only hope is to put fog or haze in the air. Theres no other way a 5 mW laser will get any brighter, other than raising it's power, which raises the danger.
i have one that is 50 mw and you can see it.

@dibby95 Well I just bought it and you cannot see the laser in day time but you can see it at night, pitch black it has to be

I'm thinking of buying a 5 MW one that SAYS visible green beam, but I don't know if it will work because its so cheap

Is it possible to have a 5mW or less green laser that the beam can be seen in daylight like this, but without any corrosive affects to a human?
