The Phrase,"IN YOUR FACE", originated in Greensboro, N.C. back in the 1960's at the Benbow Park Basketball court that NBA legend, Bob McAdoo practiced at every evening with Laymon and "Roach" Williamson. Most people credit Bob McAdoo with making up the phrase, but in reality it was Vandorn Hinnant that originally said,"Goop in your eyes", when he made a shot that went in. Since Bob McAdoo was the one who got famous, he brought it to the NBA ,and history was made!
