@ThePhantom710 Volcanic ash fallout can affect HUGE areas. The Icelandic volcanic eruption interrupted air traffic in UK an other areas in Northern Europe and Scandinavia. It all depends on the magnitude of the eruption, the prevailing winds and the high-atmospheric currents. Volcanic ash from Mt. St. Helens in the mid 80s caused a 2-3 degree drop in temperatures in the entire northern hemisphere over the following months. Something like Yellowstone's volcano erupting would be a global disaster.

Just think, man, had this been posted a month{and a day} from now..........it would've fallen on the 30th anniversary of the eruption of Mount St. Helens.{An interesting factoid to know is that it was just across the river from the Portland metro.}
i did not here this on the news ...and im a science geek ( an earth science one ) i love volcanos....
