They are very comfortable to wear. As a guy, I have a couple oof pairs -- black and brown and wear them often. Great for flat feet. I also enjoyed watching girls wear them. They are still around, but they are not nearly as popular as they were in the 1970's and 1980's. I just love watching girls wear them.

I was in junior high/high school in the mid-to-late 1970's and just about every girl I knew had at least one pair of Scholls exercise sandals. They were as popular in those days as flip flops have been in recent years.

@lakotabob The problem was the technique needed to derive the benefit the sandals offered. The best way to "practice" wearing them was on a treadmill, until you got good at walking naturally through the four "strokes". THEN (not before) wasthe time to wear them everywhere. I was always fond of the girls who could run around in them, and I never saw any girls "losing" them, as so many urban legends have come to report. The contours made them very stable, compared to the remakes of today.
