  • Now THAT's REAL Blues. I wish artists nowadays had this kinda quality, but unfortunately they do NOT!

  • Such beauty of tone, such flawless execution! It just does not get any better!

  • This music still lives in New Orleans!

    Be there or be square....

  • God to go back into time; Pontchartain Beach; safe streets day or night; now all we have is drugs; gangs and crooked Police.

  • Well...maybe it doesnt got a standart blues chord progression, but it have the blues feel in it and that enough for me...GREAT SONG, LOVE IT!

  • @1960jimmy Sorry to spoil your perception of the blues, but this IS the blues! There's a lot more to the blues than three chords and one tune.

  • Movie is 1947 "New Orleans" Great rendition by Billy Holiday.

  • New Orleans, by Arthur Lubin.

  • what movie is this?

  • Thank you for correcting me! I used the wrong word to describe it---the word I meant to use was "SOUL"! :)

When I listen to these songs sung by such great artists from back in the days, I think, "Gee they sure had soul!"

  • @AnInfant not blues its old school jazz
