Cant believe we are having this debate......to not murder the innocent...wow
-
first off i agree in freedom of speech and the add being able to be on, but yoest is only strongly supporting this for her own political agenda obviously. I could see her debating to cancel putting a add on that was pro-choice or another subject she didnt agree with. She would not support "free speech" like she said for something she didnt believe in

These NOW pro-aborts (lets face it they arent pro choice) anyway why are they all for choice unless you choose life! Sounds fishy to me! GO CHARMAINE!
-
Abortion saves lives
-
The Constitution does guarantee the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Should that not also include the most helpless and innocent among us - the unborn?
-
Yes, but the other side of the debate wants to make life the ONLY choice.
-
@Bolgernow, perhaps - just perhaps - the folks who are watching the SuperBowl are not an audience interested in being offered a "gay dating service" to help them hook up for gay sex.
But they might be an ideal audience to see an ad showing how to save the life of your baby, and have the gigantic potential in each human life brought into focus by the fact that the baby that was saved ended up being a world-class football player just like the ones in the Super Bowl they are currently watching.

Doctors are trained to warn their patients of the worst case scenario while expecting/working toward the best. They're human; they can be wrong. Birth complications can happen even in an uneventful pregnancy. That doesn't mean mom should abort her child because it is a possibility. Every time we get in our cars, there is the possibility of a fatal crash, but yet we take that chance every day, and think nothing of it.
BTW, doesn't pro-choice mean you can choose life?

I noticed that too Lecravian. And also how they put her picture on the bottom. Even so, I think Dr. Yoest conducted herself very well despite the obvious bias against pro-life.
-
Dr. Yoest is being disingenuous here. She asks, "Why can't NOW raise enough $ to put their own ad out there?"
That's the entire issue here. CBS allowed the "pro-life spot", but pulled & rejected a "gay dating spot"...
Which is it CBS? Did you "change your policy by now accepting commercials that advocate political causes" or not?
By allowing one & not the other, CBS has a fairness policy issue here...
It seems like NOW is completely against people having babies. It seems they just want all women to have abortions. Funny, Everyone who supports abortion has already been born.

It's okay to have the beer chat with your kids and the scantily clad women chat, but what we're outraged about is an ad about a mom having a son and that son being successful. Is this a joke? This is flat out insanity. How much lsd and meth are people taking this day and age? If Tebow's ad can't run, then no ad should run. Run your own ad and stop trying to take away people's rights to free speech. If a lib wants to speak about gays, they can parade around, but no body else has free speech. Bull
