Ola Belle Reed was my aunt and I knew her well. Her voice is pure earth from the Appalachia with the power from the core of the earth. Her and Alex (brother) ran New River Ranch just down the road from Sunset Park. I have scanned images from a receipt book from 1949-1950 with signatures of acts that played there. It also has dollar amounts that are amusing. Names include Bill Monroe, Grandpa Jones, and Hank Williams senior.
