i dont know what you feel about the cgi film was a big let down

the most awsome scene in the moive was "rise, rodimus prime.

But regardless he can't direct his way out of a paperbag.

Yeah I get what your saying and I completely agree. Personally I didn't mind the designs in the first movie, they had issues but they were okay. The second one on the other hand had a lot of horrible designs. Arcee and the other bikes come to mind. As does Devastator. I can't see how any sane person could like the separate designs... I really hope that the rumor about Hasbro telling Bay to cut back on the crude humor and to focus more on robots in 3 is true.

there are bits in this movie that oozes cinematic quality. one of the greatest scenes ever. Hard to believe that a mere cartoon could achieve this.

If I'm not mistaken Ironhide did. Not that you could really tell since they decided to focus on like 6 useless comic relief characters who weren't even funny and abandon the rest of the cast until the end.

Watching this scene was the only time I ever cried in a movie.

I think hot rod aka Rodimus was never going to be a popular leader given how he cost prime.

Not that I liked him but he got bit ot a tough deal really , I mean it wouldnt of mattered how it was you would of been pissed after an effort like that.

They killed starscream off too early though imo , the movie almost went down 10 gears after this scene other than starscreams death.
