  • good thing about these old gems. Some areshole from WB isnt likely to make them to disappear

  • Funny thing - this song came out before Mungo Jerry's "In the Summertime". So if anything Mungo Jerry copied these guys.

  • sounds like weird Al ha ha

  • @mrandmrsglenn it's the same band :)

  • @chambsuper90 definatly a big old thumbs up

  • @collibosher100 He's still playing the Zob Stick - check out vids of Brett Marvin and the Thunderbolts, it's the same guys!

  • @pinky0926 This was out in 1972, 2 years after In The Summertime!

  • i remember them on TOTP with a pogo stick covered in silver milk bottle tops

  • this was the first record I ever bought. Gawd, takes you back.

  • I don't get all the Mungo Jerry jealousy. Terry Dactyl to me were a version of Brett Marvin and the Thunderbolts. Great fun college band. Little Red Caboose and Graham Hines being very rude with Shave Em Dry.

  • catchy tune and song

  • @pinky0926 No, it didn't. "In the Summertime" came out in 1970, while this came out in 1972.
