Counter Surveillance -- How to remove the spybox from your car

So I canceled my ONSTAR due to privacy concerns. I don't know how best to explain it but when the _ _ _ taps your ONSTAR you can't make calls and it won't save you in an emergency. That came to light during a case in which this type of government surveillance was used to nab some mafia types or whatever. Since believing in the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and US Sovereignty gets a person on the "list" nowadays I figured it was time for the spybox to go.

also. i wonder what is supposed to be effected by un hooking it? have you heard? i am a shade tree mechanic and i love to work on classic cars. and own 3 of them. but these new cars with all the computers and wires and electronics has me pretty much lost most of the time. all i know is i want this shit gone!

i have an 07 chevy uplander mini van. i have been wanting to un hook my on star for awhile now. it really creeps me out that they know where i am at all times. i have not had an active acount. and i bought the car used. but when i push the blue bottun i can still eventually talk to someone and they can tell me my name, where i am located, and how fast i am going. i think this is TOTAL BULLSHIT and an invasion of my rights. i wonder if my box is behind the radio also?
