make your strings no longer than 3 to 4 inches long, seems very short but if you don't want to come home with your cat hung to death, well this is the only way to go.

becareful not to make your strings too long for the cats play toys that dangle. My cats toys were dangling like his are and my cat Tigger got his toy to wrap around his neck, and yes you guessed it . He would have been hung to death if i wasn't there at that moment to grab him and unwrap the string from his neck.
