An M-80 firecracker explodes in a boy's hand. This segment was taken from Episode 327 which aired on November 25, 1992 on CBS. This particular version of the segment was recorded after the Family Channel starting cutting episodes to make room for commercials, so it may have small parts missing.

Vote for Rescue 911 to be released on DVD at http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/showinfo.cfm?showID=3531 and to be put back on television at http://www.petitiononline.com/res911/petition.html

  • Funny how a specialist like that gets his facts so wrong. An M-80 is NOT equal to a quarter of a dynamite. They cannot even compare. Dynamite would have killed that kid.

  • @MrSatanica Actually, there was another Rescue 911 episode where a stick of dynamite went off in a man's hand. It blew his arm off, but it didn't kill him.

  • yea and thats why you have to be 18 or older to buy fireworks..

  • Well, this boy was just foolish.

  • moron? he should have throwed it and not scratching it on the floor cuz the fuse cant be unlighted

  • He got raly Lucky taht he did it loess his hand

  • why did he light it inside? is he that stupid??

  • firecreker + boy = big bobo

  • Eww! His hand looks painted in blood!

  • Ive been playin with m80s since I was 8 years old (with no acceptable supervision). Every person is a little common sense deprived in certain areas, but the extreme cases are obviously those who have no buisness engaging in any dangerous activity. My experiences with explosives SINCE THE AGE OF EIGHT have been professional and done safely. This kid is just dumb.
