The Doors - leider ohne den im Jahr vorher verstorbenen Jim Morrison - mit dem Song "Tightrope Ride" live im Beat Club am 27.05.1972!

You want it, you got it! See The Doors live at the Beat Club on May 27th, 1972! But please notice: This performance in Bremen took place one year after the dead of frontman Jim Morrison on July 3, 1971! Unfortunalety they never played with their charismatic frontman at the Beat Club. So the Keyboardist Ray Manzarek took the place of the lead singer. The song "Tightrope Ride" is taken from "Other Voices", the first album released by the band after the death of Jim Morrison. The Doors should only release one more album (Full Circle) before disbanding in 1973. Both albums were largely disregarded by reissue, with no official CD releases in the USA.

  • This is a real catchy, rocking song. They were still the nucleus of The Doors playing their same instruments. They just should have called themselves something else! They could have been called Other Voices, just like the album they created after Jim died. A lot of people might have been able to accept them more as a new entity if they had done that!

  • Many thanks for sharing these videos with awesome video/audio quality.

  • I just found "other voices" on vinil..!!!!

    I'm extremely happy!!!!

This guys knew that the soul of "The Doors" was gone but they just tried to keep rocking their way follow the music!!!

    That's what they do!

    Create and play music!!!!

    Awesome achievement!!!

    Keep rockin' my friends...!!!!!!!!!!

  • they sound like a Bluegrass band without Jim's Soul

  • I'm sorry but they are not the Doors. They are very talented (manzarek is my favourite organist ever) but the doors of perception can't be open without jim.

  • @cujossoul why?

  • Brian Jones and Jim Morrison were the greatest artists of their time. The most talented people. They died on the same day - July 3, 1969; July 3, 1971.

  • I could have done without Ray's off-key screaming over Robby's awesome solo at the end, thank you very much.

  • This song makes me realy happy .

  • I love how Ray mentions Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" and Brian Jones. So much talent sharing a stage and we have real music perfomed by real musicians. Those were the days..
