Great demonstration! Thats a very unique way of displaying your artwork. I work with an HP z6100, I'm not sure it could work with the aluminum printing.

I use Epson 2200. Should I give it a try? It won't wreck it, will it?

Wondering about archival longevity on this technique. Is there any data that shows how stable this process is as a common framed piece in gallery or home environment? Would hate to show prints like this and sell without solid data on its archival quality.

@emmasweeny checked the specs a little further, it says it can handle 1.5mm cardboard, which would equate to 16 gauge sheet metal. Not bad.

@BonnyL5658 It doesn't appear to have a straight paper path, or adjustable height print heads. But it does cost about the same as a used car.

What desktop printers have a straight paper path and adjustable print-head height so they can feed sheet metal?

@emmasweeny
Try the Epson 3880. It is great.
