The match was against Espanyol and was played on August 2nd. The game ended 1-0 to Manchester United, with the only goal coming from Fraizer Campbell shortly after the 80 minute mark. The testimonial gathered a record attendance, and set a new world record for a testimonial with nearly 70,000 spectators.
