The Violet/Pete Story - Part 9

When these two hooked up in "Know when to fold" it felt out of the blue, yet I was surprisingly drawn to this pair for reasons I couldn't explain. Later on when I decided to rewatch the show from the beginning (including the back-door pilot in Grey's Anatomy), I noticed little moments prior to this episode that established more than a mere work-relationship between them.

I could have included much more of their interaction, but I wanted to focus on the moments I felt were more significant to their relationship. I also wanted to show their story the way a fan paying attention to them specifically would have seen it, only I've chosen to display only the more significant bits of the individual scenes, as well as including the deleted scenes as I believe they would have happened in the actual episodes.

08:03 & 08:17 I LOVE the look on Pete's face as he watches Violet. Epic. I love how much he loves her. She's not some plastic conventional beauty that he could easily bag as his lover - Violet is down to earth, aged, seasoned, flawed, and breathtakingly beautiful in her own way. Piolet is the best couple on PP. Can't get enough of them :D

ok, so I LOVE YOU. Just wanted to get that done and over with first. I'm so glad you did this, it's a reminder of what made me fall in love with Violet and Pete in the very beginning. I've missed them soooo much. She has had a season and a half of being stupid, she better get her shit together and be happy for a few episodes at least! Ugh, I love them, and they ARE what's supposed to be! Yay for Vete! It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me cringe and it made me smile! Thank you!
