In this review, I take a look at the sequel to the awesome game Knights of the Old Republic.

ESRB Rating: Teen (13+) - Blood, Violence

All settings maxed at 1024x768. Watch in high quality for best visuals. Music is from Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy.

System requirements: Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP, 1GHz Pentium 3/Athlon required (1.6GHz Pentium 4/Athlon XP recommended), 256MB RAM (512MB recommended), Radeon X300/8500 or higher, GeForce 2/3/4/FX/6 series or higher.

To clarify my review scores (they're "rough" scores, meaning it's not supposed to be some sort of percentage or anything):
1 or lower = Terrible. Avoid at all costs.
1.5 = Has a few redeeming qualities, but still sucks and should be avoided.
2 = Mediocre (Sub-par). You'll probably want to avoid this one.
2.5 = Underwhelming, but playable.
3 = Average. Worth playing, but probably not at full price.
3.5 = Good, but has issues.
4 = Excellent, but has a few problems that could probably be fixed through patching.
4.5 = Exceptional. Better than 4 but still has a few problems that could be ironed out.
5 = Outstanding. Stuff in this category is pretty much "must own."

  • so does kotor 2 remember decisions from the first one cuz i beat the first one on the light side but that was on the xbox and i want the second one for the TSLRP so i wont miss anything

  • There's no save import feature. Basically you're given the dialogue choice at the beginning of the game as to the events of KotOR1, and it goes from there.

  • @DWTerminator is it like subtle like you know what its doing but it does it in a smart way or does it just slap you in the face and say tell me what happen

  • It's pretty up-front.

  • @DWTerminator thanks for replying and great review by the way

  • No problem. Thanks.

  • kotor 2 is better for me. Most people don't understand the story. I didn't, but once you do, it gets pretty epic. The dialogue is so peotic. <c( :

  • I watched two of your reviews, and I just wanted to say that I find them very informative and enjoyable to watch. Thanks and keep up the great work!

  • i loved the start of this game... it was proper mysterious or something. gradually it became shitter (but still great game)... id give it 8/10

  • I would give it a 2.5 / 5. The the start of the game was super epic so the game had so much potential. But the story sucked. There were so many plot holes that it got to the point where i wasn't sure whether or not i was going to be able to finish the game due to my lack of interest. I could tell that Obsidian had big plans for this game and that they were going to make it something historical, but had to meet their deadline so they made a half-ass game. They couldn't even make the ending cool.

  • You're welcome.

  • Hey does anyone know if this mod is finished? and if so where can i find it?

  • @JacobNion i did and even if its incomplete, it does fill some gaps. and it works, of course
