Hum was a great band - highly recommend listening to their old videos on youtube and see if it suits your tastes. Saw them once in Lawrence, KS - very loud. As another said, they didn' t realize much commercial success so hopefully their still getting paid by Cadillac and the other commercial works using their songs.

The song is called "Stars" and its by a band named Hum. Came out about 10 years ago. A lot of their songs sounded like this. Fairly heavy on guitar. Sounds great with headphones (fairly healthy amount of studio production). The band never really got that big.
