This was used with only a pan/tilt model without roll? I'm asking because I'm quite curious about how the dutch angle effect was achieved with a model that only pan & tilts. Please confirm.

Yes, only our pan and tilt was used. The camera was pointing down and then rotated...very easy to control. The jib are was also swinging at the time.
