PRETTY AWESOME HOW THIS RARE TRAIN IS ALSO MY 1,000th VIDEO!

Morris Plains, NJ.

Seen at- 4:08pm

Well this was my catch of the day easily! When I headed out today I planned on catching the afternoon M&E and the afternoon NJT equipment move. I noticed a green signal and had no idea, when I saw the train round the corner I thought it was a short deadhead b/c of the GP40 short hood forward. Today NJT GP40-2 #4300 is running short hood forward instead of the usual LHF with one of the new NJT ALP45-DP units #4501 behind, plus a Comet V car and a Comet IV car. This was my first time ever seeing an ALP45-DP and I'm really glad I got to see it on the equipment move heading East as it left the Morris & Essex Line from a test train that GenesisSanctuary saw in Denville. I hope a few more will show up and even out the variety of power between the GP40s, F40s, ALP46s, and PL42ACs.
