Leighton Town 3-1 Slough Town

Rebels play off hopes dented with defeat at Leighton.

Danny Burnell missed a first half penalty as Leighton made no mistake following their award of a penalty five minutes before half time.

Able to play on the counter to great effect, Leighton picked off their visitors with two quick goals with just under twenty minutes remaining.

Despite a consolation goal from Ben Abbey, the Rebels could not get back into the game and now need five points from their last three games to be certain of a play off place.
