While living or visiting on the Oregon Coast, there are hazards you should know about. The Cascadia Subduction Zone is 80 to 100 miles of the coastline of Oregon. It is a 600 mile earthquake fault capable of generating a 9.0 mega-thrust earthquake and a massive tsunami. Be Prepared!
