The secret to this game is to land on everything you can, and rack up the points. A lot of buildings, trees, level gateways and large rock formations are pretty easy to land on, but will require Invincibility. Smaller rock formations in the river are possible to land on too if you slow way down, and they don't usually require invincibility.
It takes a while to get used to staying on top of rocks and things, but its worth it! My top score is 2,743pts, and I'm working my way to 3,000!

If you make sure you have invulnerability, there's this overpass at the very beginning level three where if you take the super jump and land on top of it, you won't die. It just thinks you're still jumping. If you can manage to stay stuck there, do as many tricks as possible and you'll rack up points like crazy.
