Bashing around the front yard and doing high speed runs down the street. Redcat Shockwave buggy. Stock setup, except for replacing the wheel bushings with bearings.

Recorded with iPhone 4, stiched together and musicified with iMovie on iPad2.

  • nice buggy what do you think of it.

  • @MrBASSHEAD305 I'm very pleased with it so far. It is definitely a budget buggy, and my first nitro so I wasn't willing to jump in with a $300 vehicle. The only issue I had so far was the pull start screws vibrating loose, but Redcat support responded next day and shipped me a set for free and I have invested in some thread locker for any screws that go into the engine.

Redcat recommends their 20% mixture. But 25 or 30 is probably the best for performance. Mind you, the higher fuel percentage also means more heat, so you will have to change your glowplug accordingly.

The shockwave's sx16 motor is good to run with 20, but 25 if you are not concerned about engine life.

  • how fast dose it go

  • Yard basher:)

  • i have the same buggy... what % nitro you use? -thanks
