In the hours close to relief times for many on Baltimore city's westside the box tones sounded for reports of a dwelling fire at the intersection of Division and Mcmechen streets with the closest engine company 13 being closed Engine 8 was dispatched as the 1st due engine. Thanks to the off duty firefighter who provided me with this short video...unfortunately he advised me that he had stopped recording right before the fire showed its face. Being there it was definitely a pretty picture. Be safe out there brothers...
I don't know a lot about the city budget & POLITICS. But I know that they need to stop closing fire stations. This is insane and thank you for posting. It's a shame. Innocent people are going to die because of this. This is why we have firefighters to save people and to put out fire.Is money worth a life? I guess so.
