Btw, sorry about spamming this answer, but so far no Christian has been able to answer me yet. They always divert the topic because they cannot answer it.
Whats even more funny is that I have only used their own beliefs about their God and turned their beliefs back on themselves.
Hence God has no purpose because even if he did he couldn't complete it and if he did he would then have no purpose anyway making his existance redundant and meaningless.
Now I dont know what God's purpose is but given the fact that he is omnipotent, omniscient and timeless he could do anything he wanted at any point and could complete his purpose in an instant. Let's say his purpose is to have us worship him for all time. Neither us nor God can complete that purpose because all time means eternity and eternity negates purpose hence neither God nor us will have a true purpose because we can never fulfill that purpose.
The Bible states that our purpose is to go to Heaven and worship God for all eternity. But once there we will then have no purpose because a purpose requires a finite amount of time and worshipping something forever cannot be completed hence it isnt a purpose hence you are purposeless.
Although another suggestion to this is God may have already completed his purpose, as he is timeless he could (I say could because I have no concept of timelessness) experience time infinetly meaning every pocket of time he experiences eternally. As this could be so he would have therefore competed his purpose and not completed at the same time which would make him redundant because firstly he has completed his purpose but will never complete his purpose.
God is infinite. He is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing), timeless (unaffected by time), omnibenevolent (perfect goodness), omnipresent (everywhere) and probably loads more qualities.
However, as God is timeless this means that he is not subject to time (obviously). Purpose requires time. If one is timeless and is unaffected by time how can one complete their purpose?
Mostly, Christians just try to rationalise their beliefs with false logic such as the logic highlighted in this video.
However, ask a Christian what God's purpose is and present a simple argument to them based on the very characteristics they believe God has and they are screwed basically.
What kind of name is the Amazing Believer? It just isn't catchy.
