FALLING SNOW in LittleBigPlanet

A short demonstration of my method for making falling snow in LittleBigPlanet. Create an object made up of many small LED LIGHTS. Use an EMITTER to emit the object above your scene on the FRONT depth of view. (plane of depth closest to the front) Set the Max Emit setting to 2 or 3 depending on the height of your scene. Adjust the LIFETIME setting so you get an even cycle of "snow" without lag!

how do you get them to fall slowly

The size (diameter) of the individual LED's that make up the group (object) determines the speed in which they fall. The smaller the LED's in the group - the slower they will fall.

looks vry nice , but uses alot of space on the thermometer . emmitters take up lots,

If used incorrectly - they can. If you watch the thermometer in the video it stays very stable and moderately low. Works quite well!

Thanks man, u helped me alot. i used 1 emiter for every snow flake xD i couldn;t finish my level because my thermometer was to high,
